Many people are not aware of the wide variety of jobs that exist in theatre and its related media industries, not least the crucial role played by stage managers and technicians.

Technical courses at drama schools are designed to provide people with the theory, practical knowledge and hands-on experience they need to achieve a career in technical theatre and the entertainment industry. Employment prospects for graduates of these courses are extremely good. Surveys of recent graduates across the sector show that virtually 100% achieve employment in the industry.
